Crime is increasing and criminals are moving from place to place. We are here to help you reduce crime or potential crime in your neighbourhood by training and liaison. As a trickle down effect, it will eventually reduce home and car insurance and increase the safety of adults, children and the elderly.
ALSO👍,
We also need volunteers to help out the Directors with accounting (QuickBooks), recruiting and advertising or grant writing. If you have any of these talents, we would be happy to have you on board.
Minimum four hours a month, a few meetings a year, a few events a year. Parkland Citizens On Patrol (C.O.P.) is a group of citizens who participate in a community based crime prevention program in co-operation with the local law enforcement agencies. Through observation, documentation and reporting, members of Citizens On Patrol provide a presence in their community while patrolling by vehicle, on foot, by bicycle or other means. C.O.P. are educated volunteers who increase the awareness of suspicious and dangerous or unusual activities happening in the community. Members are trained in using safe practices at all times and have a lot of fun while patrolling and acting as the extended “eyes, ears and voice” of the local law enforcement agencies.
If you see it, say it. Report all crime or potential crime to local law enforcement through our group and your chances of catching a criminal rises exponentially.
